Key	Type	Default	Description
name	string	(required)	Project name. Used for package metadata and error messages.
version	string	"0.1.0"	Semver.
src	path	"src"	Source directory (relative to manifest).
out	path	"build"	Emit directory (relative to manifest).

Notes

• name should be a valid Python distribution name (lowercase, _-separated). Used as the wheel name if you build one.
• version is consumed by tyc sync when generating pyproject.toml.
• src and out can be reset; the defaults are conventional.
• Both src and out are created on demand by tyc init / tyc build if missing.

Multiple source dirs

Not currently supported — src is a single directory. For multi-package layouts, use one typhon.toml per package.
